Katie Munro, Equine First Aid Instructor & Co-Owner
I live in a small community in New Ross, Nova Scotia with my partner and 3 horses at Reeves Hill Farm. My past education includes an undergraduate degree in Agriculture, a diploma in Equine Enterprise Management, and attended an Equine Science-Production and Breeding program. As well as First Aid Instructor Certification with Equi-Health Canada (2015-2018).
Living in a rural community could mean extended wait times for veterinary care when an emergency arises. My goal is to teach owners/riders to feel more confident when dealing with an emergency and be able to follow instructions from a health care professional over the phone while they wait for help. I love teaching and helping horse owners learn about horse health and welfare.
Daniel Reeves, Co-Owner
Daniel enjoys the company of animals, being an animal lover and has been around horses for all of his life. Including his grandfather's Draft Horses (late professional Horseman, Maurice Reeves). Daniel is our resident handyman/ facilities manager without him nothing on the farm would get done.
